Cecilia St. King

Peace Troubadour

Cecilia St. King is a charismatic performer who performs original folk pop songs straight from the heart.

She has wowed audiences in Europe, Japan and New Zealand, and spent ten years honing her craft as a songwriter in Nashville, TN. This vibrant performer currently resides in Kingston, New York, the town next to the legendary Woodstock, where peace, love and music historically took root and transformed the world.

St. King writes her own music, a powerful antidote to turmoil in current times. She is genuinely a warm, nurturing spirit who easily connects with her audience to deliver inspirational lyrics, beautiful vocals and warm chord progressions. Expect sing-a-longs, clapping and possibly folks shaking a leg or two.

If any artist is able to bridge people together, it will appropriately be St. King, who coincidentally shares part of her last name with the famous Martin Luther King Jr. She reminds one of King’s ideals when she sings the following words in her song “Peace On Earth.”

We’re really not that different don’t you think?
We all seek to find love, we all need to have hope.
So come my friend let’s break a little bread,
tell me ‘bout your life, what’s on your mind?
He said, "We can get along if we try,
heah my heart beats like yours, your heart beats like mine.”

December, St. King was awarded as an Ambassador for Peace through the Universal Peace Federation and the Inter-religious and International Federation for World Peace because of her work as a humanitarian.

As a Peace Troubadour, St. King travels to gigs to sing songs with positive messages. She comes with many standout songs, including those from her three CDs entitled: “Come Dance With Me,” “Listen Up Heart,” and “Live Earth Day Concert.” Two wonderful songs among her increasing repertoire are “Not Going to Hate” and “Your Word is Magic.”
